Birdwood Lake and East Birdwood WMA are located southwest of North Platte, in Lincoln County , Nebraska. The lake itself is approximately 20 acres, with primitive facilities.
The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as containing good fishable populations of Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, and Perch,. The lake also had been periodically stocked in winter with Rainbow Trout.
