  Carter P. Johnson Lake is located in Fort Robinson State Park, in Sioux County. The lake is approximately 15 surface acres of water, and Boating is restricted to electric motors only.

  The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lakes as containing a good population of Rainbow trout. There are also several creeks in the adjacent park area that have good populations of Brown and Brook trout. They include the White River and Soldier Creek.

  Facilities at Fort Robinson State Park include primitive and modern camping, dump stations, restrooms, fresh water, showers, and concessions.
