Big Indian Lake is located in Gage County Nebraska, approximately 3 miles southwest of Wymore. All boats are allowed and there are no motor restrictions on this lake. The lake is part of the Lower Big Blue Natural Resource District.
The lake is very turbid and has 76 surface acres of water. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission lists Big Indian as containing Bullhead and Channel Catfish.
Big Indian Lake has primitive camping, restrooms, and primitive boating access.
