  Killdeer Wildlife Management Area is located 3 miles north of Martell, in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The lake is approximately 20 acres, with only electric and non-powered boats allowed.

  The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as having good fishable populations of Bluegill, Bullheads, Channel Catfish, Crappie and Largemouth Bass.

  Facilities at Killdeer are very primitive with only primitive camping allowed. Although boating is allowed on the lake, there are no improved access points for boating access.
