Long Lake State Recreation Area is located in Brown County, approximately 21 miles southwest of Ainsworth Nebraska. Boating is allowed on the lake, but powered boating is limited to 5 mile per hour no-wake limit.
The lake itself lake has 155 surface acres of water. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission lists Long Lake as containing Bullheads, Pike and Yellow Perch.
Facilities at Long Lake State Recreation Area include primitive camping, primitive boating access, and restrooms.
