Memphis Lake is located approximately 1 mile west of Memphis, in Saunders County, Nebraska. The lake is 45 acres, and is open to boats with electric motors only.
The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as having good fishable populations of Bluegill, Buffalo, Bullhead, Carp, Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass. This lake is good fishing for early spring Crappie using minnows and small jigs. The lake is also a producer of some good sized mid-summer Buffalo and Carp. Most Carp and Buffalo are taken on nightcrawlers and chicken livers.
Facilities at the lake include primitive camping, boat access, picnic facilities, and restrooms.
