The Morril Sandpits are located in Scotts Bluff County Nebraska, three miles south of the City of Morril. The lakes are county owned, and permission is required to gain access to the lakes. Check with the Morrill City Manager or Scotts Bluff County for more information on the accessibility of this lake.
The 3 lakes of the Sandpits have approximately 25 surface acres of water. The Nebraska State Parks Commission lists the lakes as containing Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout and Yellow Perch.
There are no facilities available at the Morril Sandpits, and boating and camping are prohibited.
