Olive Creek Lake is located 2 miles east of Kramer, in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The lake is approximately 175 acres, with a 5 mile per hour no-wake limit on boats on the lake. Boaters should note that this lake is very shallow, and should e navigated carefully.
The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as having good fishable populations of Bluegill, Carp, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass. We found a good population of Bluegill in this lake, and most were taken on slowly retrieved nightcrawlers on a spinner rig. Several large carp were taken on stink bait near the inlet at 86th street and west Princeton Road.
Facilities at Olive Creek include primitive camping, a boat ramp, restrooms, fresh water, and picnic facilities.
