LINGID

Plum Creek lake is located between Johnson Lake and Gallagher Canyon Lake along the central supply canal. All three lakes are connected by the central supply canal and access to each of them is accessible by this canal. Plumb Creek Lake has approximately 252 acres of water, with a 5 mph no wake limit on boating.

The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists this lake as having good fishable populations of Channel Catfish, Crappie, Drum, Walleye, and White Bass. Anglers should note there is a 15 inch length limit on walleye and largemouth bass. This lake is generally good fishing for White Bass and Drum with minnows, crankbaits, and nightcrawlers. Most fish are taken trolling or drifting on the lake. Shore fishing also can be good at times for Drum and Catfish using the same baits.

Facilities at Plumb Creek are very primitive, with only 2 gravel bottom boat ramps available. Any need for additional facilities can be easily obtained at nearby Johnson Lake.
