  Smith Lake State Wildlife Management Area is located in Sheridan County Nebraska, 23 miles south of Rushville. All boating is allowed on the lake but are limited to 5 mile per hour no-wake limit.

  The lake has 290 surface acres of water. The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists Smith Lake as containing Bluegill, Bullheads, Largemouth Bass, Pike, Tiger Muskie, Walleye and Yellow Perch.

  Facilities at Smith Lake SWMA include primitive camping, boating access, and restrooms.
