Two Rivers is actually Seven Different lakes, including a special seasonally stocked trout lake, which requires a special tag and fee. The park is approximately 302 land acres and 320 water acres. There is access to the Platte River that is well maintained and has produced good fishing in the past. Non-powered boating is allowed on all lakes except for lake #5 (trout lake).
The fishing is fair and is under heavy pressure. The majority of the lakes produce rough fish and some good sized catfish. The state game and parks list the lakes as stocked as following: bluegill, bullhead, carp, channel catfish, crappie, large mouth bass, Pickerel, tiger muskie in lakes #1 - 4. Lake #5 is stocked as a special trout lake requiring a purchase of a trout tag in addition to the standard permits. There is also a special "Carp Lake" located near the entrance.
Primitive and modern camping is available with dump station, trailer pads, and electricity. A valid park entry permit is required. Special seasonal accommodations are available in the forms of caboose cabins (see photo page.) For more information contact the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
