LINGID

Yankee Hill Lake is located approximately 3 1/2 miles southeast of Denton, in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The lake has 210 surface acres of water, with very limited facilities.

The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as having good fishable populations of Bluegill, Bullhead, Channel Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, and Walleye. Walleye can be taken in by crankbaits and minnows nearly all year around if pursued with a boat and depth-finder. Most lie a short distance off the dam on low spots and drop-offs.

Facilities at Yankee Hill are very primitive with only a single boat dock, restrooms, and parking.
