Frye Lake is located in Grant County, one mile northeast of Hyannis Nebraska. Powered boating is allowed on the lake, but is limited to a 5 mile per hour no-wake limit.
The lake has approximately 243 surface acres of water. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission lists Frye Lake as containing Bluegill, Carp, Largemouth Bass, Tiger Muskie, Yellow Perch and Crappie.
Facilities at frye lake include restrooms and a boat ramp.
